These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Numy iOS app and getnumy.com (the “Service”), operated by Online SIM LTD (“Numy”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.
The Service
Numy provides virtual phone numbers that you can use to make and receive calls and send and receive text messages over the internet, together with an SMS verification feature. The Service relies on telecommunication carriers and other partners, so the countries, numbers and features available can change, and the Service may sometimes be interrupted or unavailable. You need an internet connection to use the Service.
Your Numy number
A phone number is provided to you for use while your subscription is active. You do not own the number. If your subscription ends or is cancelled, the number may be released and later assigned to someone else. We may also need to change a number if a carrier, regulation or law requires it.
No emergency calls
Numy does not support calls to emergency services such as 112 or 911. Numy is not a replacement for your regular phone service. Always keep another way to contact emergency services.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose or to help others break the law;
- to send spam, bulk or automated messages, or to make automated or robocalls;
- to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone;
- to violate the terms of third-party services, including the platforms you verify;
- to interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service or our systems.
We may suspend or limit your use of the Service, or close your account, if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law, or to protect our users, partners or the Service.
SMS verification
Numbers used for SMS verification are temporary and are provided by third parties. We cannot guarantee that every platform will accept a number or that a code will arrive. Because these numbers are temporary, do not use them for account recovery or as the long-term contact number of an important account. Use SMS verification only for accounts you are entitled to create.
Purchases
Subscriptions, balance top-ups and SMS verification purchases are made through the App Store and are described in our Purchase Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
License and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the App Store usage rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer the App. Numy, its logo and the content of the Service belong to us or our licensors.
Third-party services
The Service works together with third-party services such as Apple and telecommunication carriers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the App under Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings. We may terminate these Terms or your access as described above.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, or that calls, messages or verification codes will always be delivered.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Online SIM LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
Apple
These Terms are between you and Online SIM LTD, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the competent courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the App. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.
